March 7, 2010 – It is Finished! – Elder Marty Hoskins - Scripture clearly teaches of the finished work of Jesus Christ. We love to hear of such certainties and to feel that assurance of our future place in heave. However, there is more to the finished work of Jesus Christ than just an assured and reserved place in heaven. Brother Marty proclaims the finished work of Jesus Christ, both how it relates to the our assurance of heaven and how it relates to our experience of the kingdom now.

September 21, 2008 – The Great Commission – Elder Gus Harter - We were blessed today to have Elder Gus Harter with us at the Dallas Church. Â As of this afternoon, Elder Gus Harter has accepted the call to return to the Bethany Church in Atlanta, GA as pastor. Â Brother Harter reminded us that many Primitive Baptists do not believe that they are currently under the “Great Commission.” Â Elder Harter dispells that myth by preaching the true meaning and proper execution of this command of our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ.

September 14, 2008 – Self Appointed Kings – Elder Marty Hoskins - In this sermon, Elder Hoskins uses the story of Abimlech in Judges 9:1-21 to examine human nature, particularly that nature that leads mean to feel that they are fit to be ruler and king over God’s people. Â The major thrust of this message is that God’s people do not need a king because the Lord, Jesus Christ, is our king, and that the only power a self appointed king has comes from people that are willing to follow him.

July 20, 2008 -Â Gideon – Characteristics of a Good Leader Part IÂ - Elder Marty Hoskins - This is the first in a two part series on leadership characteristics. Â Judges 6, 7, and 8 tell the story of a man named Gideon. Â He is chosen of God to lead God’s people in battle against the Midianites who had oppressed Israel greatly. Â Elder Hoskins examines the characteristics of Gideon that made in a good and effective leader for God’s chosen people, and then emphasizes that we should be looking for those characteristics in those that we choose as leaders in the church.
