Dallas PBC will hold our annual meeting the 4th weekend in July, July 23 – 25. Services will be as follows:

We expect many ministers to be with us throughout this meeting, but we are especially looking forward to Elder Jeff Winfrey from Dawson Springs, KY and Elder Jamey Tucker from Chula, GA.
Sunday, May 16 – Elder Bob Mitchell of the Harmony Church in Calhoun, GA will have a special preaching appointment at the Dallas Church during our regular Sunday morning worship service while Pastor Hoskins is filling a preaching appointment at the Griffin Church in Griffin, GA.
The 4th Sunday evening fellowship meeting of the Little River Association of Georgia will be held at the Dallas Church on Sunday, May 23rd at 7:00 pm. Â Everyone is invited to come and worship with us. Â We would love to see you with us during this meeting.
Soon, we will be making announcements about our meeting coming up this summer. We would pray that the Lord would lead you to make an effort to be there.
Matthew 6:9-10 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as [it is] in heaven.
When Jesus taught us to pray “Thy kingdom comeâ€, do you think he was speaking of a physical kingdom that would be setup her on earth at some point in the future, or do you believe that he was speaking of that future kingdom where we will all dwell after death (the place we commonly call heaven)?
What if I told you that I don’t believe either. I believe this kingdom, for which we are to pray, is a current present experience. In Hebrews 12:28 we read “Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:†Notice that the writer says that we are, presently, receiving a kingdom. This kingdom is the righteousness, joy, and peace in the Holy Ghost that is spoken of in Romans 14:17. The kingdom is not something for which we have to wait, but rather it is something that we can and should experience now. In God’s word we find a great deal about this experience.

The fifth weekend in January, January 30 and 31, the Dallas Primitive Baptist Church will have a special preaching appointment for Elder Matt Jordan. Elder Jordan is pastor of the Rocky Mount Church in Alabama. Services will be as follows:
Saturday Morning at 10:30 am
Sunday Morning at 10:30 am
Following the Saturday morning service, we will have a time of fellowship at the church which will last throughout the afternoon hours. With this in mind, we have decided that we will make the Saturday morning service a casual attire service. Please feel free to come in jeans, etc. that would be appropriate for an afternoon picnic, etc.
Everyone is welcome to come.
January 30-31, 2010 - Elder Matt Jordan, Pastor of the Rocky Mount Primitive Baptist Church in Arab, AL, will be visiting with the Dallas Church. He will preaching for us during worship services on Saturday Morning at 10:30 am and Sunday Morning at 10:30 am. Everyone is invited to attend and here this servant of God declare God’s grace.
